How many folks still work at this plant? So many local companies are hiring with great salaries. Bet there will be defectors…….. Au revoir.

Leaving this place was the best career move I have ever made. Not leaving sooner was the worst.
People leaving in large numbers. Management doesn’t care.
Lol, I've been gone for awhile, but I rubberneck this board every now and then... and the 3 certainties in life are death, taxes, and ppl complaining about what a poophole Florence, KY is. The jewel in the MI crown glitters brightly!!!
This was once a great place to work, the moral is as bad as I've ever seen. Management is clueless, you can smoke for 5hrs a day or you can bust your but for 8 and there is zero difference. The employees who work hard are getting screwed, they have to work harder bc of everyone else laying down with zero consequences. No parts for weeks, not enough employees in half the departments, virtual phone meetings with a guy who does not speak very good English, constantly lying to employees. The list goes on. Sad to see what this once great place has turned into.
- F is a HUGE disappointment. His management skills do not work well in the US. He obviously had some level of success at his previous facilities but has proven to be a huge failure at FMPC. E2E isn’t even whispered anymore because the morale is so poor. Once the news of the wage increases hits next week half of the plant will either leave of simply lay down even more. We are beyond the point of no return.
This place is absolutely horrible. The worst management team I’ve seen in 25 years. Most hourly employees hate their jobs and are simply laying down. Efficiency is so low just because of the attitudes that the workers have and it’s a direct result of the way management treats them. So many of us had such high hopes when A.F. Took over but he quickly proved to be as incompetent as all the others. Other management positions are the same way, HR, Quality, HSE departments are lead by incompetent children that struggle to get dressed in the morning.
Great people here but management is terrible. There are some folks looking for new jobs but management will not care, as they will pawn the work off on those that are left. Can't find new hires but nothing is done to retain employees. Put your mask on, get your Quest done, and work the weekends. Hope you liked the ice cream.
