Thread regarding Southwestern Energy Co. layoffs

SWN loses 609 million dollars in second quarter 2021

I was just told we lost 609 million in 2q and that we would lose over as billion dollars on derivatives before the end of the year.

Why do the clowns running SWN only lose money year after? Why are the executives too stupid to learn from their mistakes?

Why are they buying companies that are losing money?

The incompetence of the SWN executives is enough to make you cry!

I see what u did mr wet bandit. Let’s never forget

If your sick then you must have a clean test prior to returning to work or else your terminated and stuff. I went to office today to show everyone that I a team player and stuff and to avoid layoffs. Usually on Saturdays I take open door dumps since nobody is there and leave surprises for the Monday morning janitors.

Hey Heywood. You exemplify all that is what Is known as a SWN dootard.

You fail to recognize that Way’s alma mater (howdy all it’s TExas A&M) is going to rename its business school after him. You can take that to the bank just like your SWN stock price!

It’s apparent that you do not understand mark to market accounting. Most producers will be showing huge “accounting” losses due to hedges that were taking out on future production and these losses will continue into 2022 at current strip pricing. These hedges are necessary and pretty much required by the banks who own our debt to ensure that the bills are paid. SWN will be fine and positive cash flow is looking good going forward! Cheers
