Three and a half stars for this mess? I think HR has been working overtime to mitigate negative but realistic and honest reviews from employees with their fairy tales. How else would they be able to lure new suckers to replace the many who are leaving for greener pastures?

I am very happy with my career at Allstate. There are 43,000 employees so there are allowed to be different opinions and feelings.
Re claims post... HO IT is bad too.
On top of that several ratings are 4 star but the comments bash the culture….
Glassdoor has become a joke. Do they actually think they are fooling anyone with their fake positive reviews ?
No, this is true. I have a friend in Hr who said they intentionally go onto Glassdoor and other sites using fake names to give positive ratings. It’s more of a problem trying to recruit people for home office vs claims roles.
Totally agree!
Attorney in law& Reg here. Worst culture I’ve ever worked in. So not just claims grunts who feel this way.
100% agree
‘Grunts’ in different departments feel this way. Underwriting was garbage. They yanked away our rights and automated everything and simplified it to get the chat positions prepped for India.
Claims isn't the only department at Allstate. People in other areas probably don't feel the same way you claims grunts do
