Has anyone noticed that two of the new RMs came from internal candidates. Whereas SVs came from outside the company. This speaks volumes!

It might be hard for her to find people within the company willing to sleep with her.
I wonder if the new RM for Region 42 will be someone from inside or outside the company. I would thing they'd just break it up into other regions, but they did that last year with Region 41. I'm beginning to wonder why so many RMS have to get away from SZ!
I don’t know much about the other GVPs. However, if they are line SV, they don’t do much! At least form what I see, the other GVPs at least develop their people and even looks like the have a plan of succession in place.
Speaking of VPs why do we have Group VPs? We already have RMs, isn’t that enough? I mean at some point an executive is telling a GVP something they could have easily told an RM. Some of them are old anyway and almost at retirement. I don’t like for anyone to loose a job but why cut your field operations down to a skeleton crew while GVPs are simply conduits of information. Or do they do more than that? Serious question.

does anyone need more evidence that follett is terrible? Hiring SVP from out side, laying off more than 10 % of employees, stripping benefits from many employees, moving to temp in time, abusing out long tenured employees; good companies don't do these things.
