A competitor would love to have the Xerox MIF to get all that revenue. Sure, the workforce is aging, but Xerox technicians really are some of the best around. A competitor would still require many of them to service the equipment. And despite Xerox's apparent attempt to alienate customers with poor quality, inferior virtual support, and declining customer base, a competitor would still love to acquire those customers.

Nobody is going to swallow up Xerox outside of a potential HP merger. Even then I think Xerox ends up on top in that relationship. The rest of the industry is just as much in the ho-e as we are. Don’t be fooled by bullish posts from competitors on here trying to tell you differently. The pandemic just excelled the downswing of revenue in a declining market faster than anybody expected. But everyone is trying to survive some way right now and making tough decisions left and right.

Previous post forgot to include a minority segment in the work force that is protected no matter what they do or don't do in most cases.

Let’s see: An aging workforce, outdated technology, a declining revenue, market share, customer base and profit margin. The internal infrastructure is broken and chaotic with customer satisfaction and employee morale at an all time low. No stability in the workforce due to constant threat of layoffs and outsourcing. Sale teams in disarray. No innovative products and an engineering base dependent on foreign development ….Looks like a sure fire winner !
