Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Don't....

Why are you guys stressing soooo much about layoffs? It's not worth it. If it's going to happen, there is nothing you can do about it... but move on!! Stressing and worrying over something that's beyond your control isn't going to solve anything but make you sick and tired. Life goes on....

The stress is on the newer employees who don’t have tenure and will get next to nothing for severance. We all have bills to pay and mouths to feed. Job security and benefits are a necessity for some people.

Hope for it.....hopefully you have some tenure, you'll need the time to recover from the cesspool that WFB is.....what is it a month for every year? You will need that time just to rehumanize yourself.

I’m pretty sure that is what they tell prisoners:

“Don’t fight for better conditions - just accept however we treat you. Be glad for whatever slop we throw your way,”

For a lot of people, it’s not the stress of a layoff, it’s the sudden ‘forced’ change in the environment they are in that is causing stress and now, the layoff is almost welcomed.

Yep. It's the inconvenience of not having a job in the meantime that bothers me. Not everyone bounces back quickly.
