It amazes me that more people are not leaving Metlife as a result of the cuts that led to us being critically understaffed. The pressure and pace of work imposed on the survivors is so great now that I regret not being targeted by the layoff. The amount of work is unreasonable and the atmosphere has never been more toxic.

Updated my resume today. I have zero confidence that senior leadership has a clue what they are doing in the disability LOB.
In my area people are quitting daily. It's gotten to the point that we can't maintain baseline work getting done and they can't seem to get any people to apply. I'll probably be next at this rate because I'm doing the job of five people and they're not paying me enough to deal with this BS. And if I stay I'll get a measly raise that doesn't even cover cost of living increases. What's the point?
