What will happen to it?

M is good for day trade or swing trade. Don’t let the rise fool you. Consumer spending will move toward services as many of the merchandise we sell were mostly bought either during the pandemic or right when we were opening. New products are not ready as containers are so expensive to ship to us. Manufacturers are trying to ramp up their production but there are bigger players than Macy’s they have to produce for. The Q3 and Q4 number will support this claims.
Macy’s has no future!! You may as well flush your money down the toilet, because that’s what it will be worth!
Wait, you have 20 associates working at one time?
The stock will be cajoled and manipulated to look good for a while. Thats the beauty of retail when you're up against Low (or no) numbers. Company will continue to divest itself of people and real estate. All this to look healthy when eventually sold in body parts or whole. This will allow those who primary goal is cash from stock sale to succeed.
I like the stock for now, it only went up because Macy’s cut so many high paid and executive store jobs that it’s saving mega money on payroll. Like most stock prices it’s inflated. Macy’s is fine for now but adaptation needs to be done right now. Do away with leased departments in the store they are garbage. Finishline has 6 of the same show displayed in the few Macy’s I’ve seen with it. Nike isn’t interested in selling to Macy’s or anyone else because they are getting undercut by their own product. Shame

its artificial and not true numbers.. walk into any store .. what do you see? its only bizzy for a few hours a week.. plus alot of insider trading. look at parking lot .. see 30 cars? count for at least 20 of that is employee cars.
Macy's will be bought out.
