Agency compensation being cut again 2023?

Does anyone know how much the EA agency compensation is being cut by in 2023? There was a recent article about it but you have to be a subscriber in Crains.

After cutting all those jobs, what more can they do?

They cut the renewals to 9% in 2020. However they had some kickers if you grew PIF etc.

Wonder how this will impact TPPs and book sales/financing?

Customers still want an agent. The people at Allstate Customer service are missing chromosome or Two.

Allstate wants to get rid of agents more than they want to move claims to India. The writings on the wall. They want to be Prog/Geico (but suck at it). Only a matter of time before claims and sales are all based in Pune, and customers still paying for a premium product with their terrible customer service and attitudes, LULZ

  • 20% more. They cut agents -10% four years ago. No one can keep an agency solvent and cover operating costs with the little margin we are left with after losing -30% in operating capital. Also, if they don't hit quotas, then renewal comp will be affected. Certain quotas, not hit, they are sent a 90-day termination letter no matter how long they have been here. So much for "being in good hands" huh?

Agents are a thing of the past, don't be surprised if they're liquidated completely
