When did Dell culture go from one of the best to one of the worst?

I've worked a combined 21 years for both Dell and EMC. Two very different cultures that is still not one, and executive leadership turns a blind eye to it. Lots of money and market share is being left on the table because these field teams won't work together.

If you are a channel partner trying to figure out who to work at DellEMC.....I wish you lots of luck.

EMC culture was great fun prior to the acquisition.

EMC was built on cliques and lived on cliques. Accordingly the EMC culture was very clique-oriented. In my new company this is not how the things are run.

Interesting that both Dell and EMC employees previous to the acquisition say things went downhill. Management, are you listening? It sure seems like a race to the bottom - outsourcing jobs to countries we consider our enemies all in the name of saving money so the execs can make more! Lovely!

EMC culture was great fun prior to the acquisition. We also worked hard and played hard. Now its all work and looking over our shoulders.
