My take on the assessment is just may be designed to retain the individuals that have participated in the destruction of the company. Assessments are designed around the current leaderships idea of what the company should look like. Nothing will change until the current leadership is dumped. There is nothing more ignorant than a traditional board of directors. Good example is Fifth Third Bank, they hang on the d-mbest of the d-mb in spite of the ongoing failure.
They are getting a skills assessment. I.e and excuse to fire them. 2/3rds of them are losing their jobs.
