Do you know of anyone who isn’t looking to leave? It is amazing to hear the way people at all levels of the organization are speaking. People no longer give a damn. #GoAheadAndFireMe

I had interaction with the dolt who put together the Uncon staffing numbers. This guy knew ABSOLUTELY nothing about running an onshore oil and gas operation. His numbers were truly freighting. If they actually get to them, there is no way they hit the production goals. I wonder if other business lines had a similar experience.
Please tell your friends to not apply for the job open below…..really bad place and group to work on. Specially if you have experience you will be on the bottom on the first ranking since management will protect their friends!
[INSERT YOUR NAME HERE] – NGL Trader – ExxonMobil – Houston Campus
The U.S. Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) Trader will be responsible for developing and capturing profitable commercial and derivative trading opportunities, supported by a world scale physical NGL footprint including fractionation and storage assets in the Mont Belvieu market.
Worst corporate culture I ever worked in ... simply pathetic
@bln+1bvKiBY8 management is reporting upwards that the attrition is non-regretted because they are under their full year target number. It'll be interesting to see what they say once the FY target is achieved - I'm guessing it'll be claimed as an efficiency and they all get bonuses.
Top of Mind. We're Looking At It.
@wbj+1bvKiBY8 Dallas’s view still seems to be that continued attrition is desirable. The business units and functions are probably hurting, but it’s evident that they don’t set the policy
The issue is…trust has been broken.
Besides that Exxon is aware of the issues and had meetings with managers but I have not seen any action item coming out of this.
So the message is…we are Exxon and we will not change.
@ulm+1bvKiBY8 true, I’m downstream so I don’t know what’s going on in Midland. I wonder what the overseas upstream affiliates are seeing with attrition in ops.
@vrs+1bvKiBY8 I am surprised to hear that. Certainly not the case in the Permian.
The one area where I don’t see many people leaving is Operations, even though there are certainly a few. The ones closest to the bits and the pipes. So EM’s still gonna be pumping oil and refining product.
@dhn+1bvKiBY8 The battle is internal and not external. Compete within! Have you not heard! I am winning!
I'm not sure why the people in my business team are still giving a damn.
I am a supervisor and I no longer have any idea what to tell my team to give them hope.
Abandon all hope?
We’ve definitely lost the locker room. Soon we will have to forfeit because we won’t even have enough players to field a team!
A sports analogy because I know BC and CM love them so much.
Look around at the faces next time you are in a meeting. People are pi---d. People are demoralized. People are not engaged. People are not giving their all. Management has cratered the workforce. There is no trust. Try win a war without the troops. Good luck.
Everyone better be, unless you are DW and his minions.
