I think retirement packages are done deal. This year none offered. Culp hinted he don’t pay for people to leave.
Relax....no. they are making stuff up to put in employee files to paper whip that they can fire you for cause. Run people now while there are other companies that have positions open.
Confirming the new definition of “similar position”. Basically they came up with a way to keep from paying layoff benefits based on years of service. Big savings to the company. Can’t imagine more layoffs when support for our digital apps is so lacking.
Layoffs are coming every month. Get used to it buttercup!

Milwaukee Tool or Generac Power Systems are much better options for employment!
Did they offer packages to the people who cut let go ?
I do not know anyone who was let go, very curious on exit packages.
I think more cuts each season are possible.
Last day for some people in service today. Waves are coming. You may not want to be here even if your job is secure because you will just have to bear more BS.
Relax and do you job, every Feb they offer 75% early retirement packages.
Wait for that and retire when they offer that.

Or get Riffed and get nothing or small severence based on years of service , thats possible to.

Im under 60 and fear a Rif and losing the ability to carry healthcare to age 65 medicare age.
GE used to great for field engineers, now I feel like a factory worker with a timeclock.

HT just put out a memo stating when you do not get a layoff package after July 1. Example they offer you a job within 50 miles making up to 20 percent less and you don't jump at it.
I'd be grateful for any info.
