Hitachi Vantara Enhances Lumada with the Acquisition of Smart Data Management Company Io-Tahoe

Hi ho Silver !!! The buying of small cloud companies for an undetermined sum of money continues. This time it’s for a company barely four years old and claims to have over 1000 clients. It all BS. We’ve seen this movie before. Now we will learn how poorly run they are when no revenue is revealed after the purchase.

Wow, seems like HV is grasping for straws while it drowns desperately trying to compete with other cloud giants who actually know what they’re doing.

With revenues of £400k… and losses of £1.3m! Another success story!

There’s a reason Hitachi Vantara is not a publicly traded company. They can do a lot of sh-t without any oversight. To bad the employees that work here have to suffer the consequences. If there were stock holders to answer to, these C-level executives would be long gone. This shell company is going to run out of money real soon.

Oh yes, all the cooks in the kitchen is trying to figure out what is the best dish to cook. The best way is buy all the “ingredients” (company) and then decide to either serve gumbo or jambalaya. Wait, they also need a large Dutch oven. In the end, no $hit to sell but these management claim they delivered their goal and deserve more bonu$.

If you count the number of people who downloaded kettle as Pentago customers, then Pentago also has perhaps a 100,000 customers.

Don't forget folks at HV are still trying to figure out how to make something out of Pentago and waterline data. I guess the solution was to buy another company that had big data mentioned on its website.
