Effects of oil prices rising?

s far as I can tell, there are no improvements in this company despite the oil price jumps. Price growth for now does not drive any improvement it seems to me. I expected the situation in the MoD to improve significantly when the prices started to rise, but... disappointment. I’m more motivated to get out of here than to stay.

Rise of oil price is also temporary. Due to Joe Biden all countries are investing renewable and targeting net zero. Even though it’s all politics and bu-----t and impossible to get net zero, it’s the reality. Oil era is over unfortunately and there is no further investment by any company even in this high price. Oil demand won’t go right away however it’s a declining industry. If you are even 10 to 15 yrs away from your retirement, I would definitely go for other industry.

The rise in price is due to reduction in supply, not because of increase in demand.
