Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Is it just me or has this company transformed into one big management laundering scheme?

I went from 1 to 3 managers in less than a year. My org chart is confusing af.

Easy way to find a VPs protege is to find someone totally unqualified moved into a role they know nothing about and then surrounded by additional people to make them look good. Happens all the time.

Management laundering scheme. Why did I never think of that myself before. These types (most of them are useless mo--ns) are moved cross-functionally so quickly and so often that all their failures, sc--w-ups, and negative contributions are untraceable.

Yes, management laundering scheme. That's exactly what it is!

It’s not just about the number of managers either, it’s like the company exists for them too. The processes, opportunities, work function. Management laundering scheme lol

I’m in baytown and they’re creating new management positions faster than SLS are leaving (which is a lot)

I’ve had close to 15 first and second lines over the last 3 years.
