Take it from somebody who was laid off about eight months ago, you'll be okay. After the first shock is gone, you'll realize that they did you a favor. It took me less than two months to find a new job, and that was when the job market was much worse than it is now. In my new company I get to enjoy regular working hours, normal workload, and respectful managers who shockingly know what they're doing and how to help me when I need it. None of that I had at TR. As I said, you'll be okay.

I'm happy that worked out well for you, and I know several others who have moved on quite successfully.
However, some of are older & close to retirement. I can't see finding company that would be willing to hire me at same/similar salary knowing I'm not going to be around for long enough for that investment to pay off.
