Does it seem to you that the big problem actually lies in their ego? They are literally blinded by it. Almost all of their decisions are ego-driven.
I am almost convinced that they think they are doing a remarkable job in while at the same time ignoring the fact that employees are demoralized and want to escape from this company.
My manager literally threw his own going away call on to talk about myself on his last day. The ego thing is true. There are a lot of insecure narcissistic weirdos in mgmt
Who would actually accept a leadership position there? You would either have to be incredibly d-mb, have a huge ego and think you are so great that you can overcome this sh-t show, or if the role is a giant step up for someone who's not ready for the role. Generally, I think it is a mix of the 3 for many of them.
