How about all these people who are wishing for layoffs and cuts be it for themselves or other people just do everybody a favor and quit? Why wish for things that would make hundreds of people lose their livelihood just because it would suit you? All of you have a simple solution that affects only you - walk away. You'll be happier and we'll be better off without you.

Well, I like to post on this board, but if there aren’t any layoffs going on that guy will tell me to get lost because this is a lay-off board. Please bring more layoffs so that I don’t get kicked off this site!
Why won’t folks quit who are Unhappy?? Because chevron winners enjoy collecting that paycheck and can work either 3 hours a week or 40 hours a week and no one cares. And they just have more time to “complain”. But IMO it’s not complaining if it’s true and it’s not unhealthy to request for integrity, improvements, elimination of ridiculous nonvalue add corporate initiatives , hire capable people, retain talent, and have leadership connected to reality, to make the workplace better for all.
Yes that's true, so do us all a favor and quit like you suggested.

The OP doesn’t actually work for Chevron nor understands the EOI process or that layoff can be a personal economic decision.
Telling people to walk away epitomizes selfishness.
And who says high level HR managers don't read this site. You can feel their cluelessness.
