I love my job and I think I am a very engaged employee, but working in this company I've totally lost the will to ever come up with an idea again. They just pretend to want to hear employee ideas, and when you come up with an idea, they completely ignore you. Not just me but others too. How can you feel good and appreciated here when you see that good ideas are simply shot down.

Exactly, which is why there’s very little innovation at Seagate. The only real products are the same HDD technology. Unless it sells and makes money it’s a failure. This is supposed to be a business.
You are correct. it an apple polishing company where the bosses have favourism.
