I think this company is most undermined by the arrogance of those at the top who think there are still a lot of those who won’t mind their talent being devalued here. I too have a hard time accepting that this company is not like it used to be, but they still seem to think that they are doing a great job and that the most talented people are interested in working here.

Truth be told the leaders of this company don’t consider or care about the value you bring to the company whatsoever. When making decisions about labor reductions you are nothing more than how much it cost the company per year to keep u employed. They will move someone in to do your job that has absolutely no idea what they’re doing…no experience at all! Like none! to he-l with the customers as long as it saves them money.
If you're going to attack cheap labor, attack Allstate for it. Don't attack the folks in India or Ireland, they're just applying for jobs/opportunities being offered them, just we would if we were in their shoes. And there seems to be a lot more attacks and name calling for the folks in India vs. Ireland, no doubt in correlation to the color of their skin, which is shameful.
Why does the company need to value you when they can get four Patel's for your value??? Wake up and smell the curry....
Allstate claims: home to the most overworked, underpaid AND devalued adjusters in the industry
Allstate upper management is convinced India can take over claims . I’m curious to see how things are going 2 years from now. Will American customers be satisfied with half rate customer service ?
People I talk to have had enough. They will work 40 hours a week. No more. No more hours and hours beyond the norm. This is not going to be good. Allstate screwed themselves. There is no amount of money they can pay to work us into an early grave. They are disgusting.
I agree 100%. I have an amazing group of colleagues and immediate managers. I went through the whole assessment process last year, some of my colleagues were let go and then my position was eliminated and I was essentially given a new job (with no say in the matter). My job duties, which usually kept me busy 50-60 hours a week if not more, were doled out to already overworked folks, most of whom did not have the time, desire, skills or experience to take on this extra work. That, more than anything else, made me realize that the folks who make these big decisions have no idea what the he-l any of us do and don't value the work we do.
