Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

CL by position

Any idea what CL range is common for well-recognized positions? Listings should include county and business line.

Has anyone ever seen a document defining the CL system? I have looked and not found anything. Why is it not linked on the HR site?

It’s so that the leadership can grow people in roles… as well as move people around to develop skill sets. Each position comes with a range
Having said that, with the attrition levels growing, holes appearing …career mapping has gone out the window and management is simply putting people in roles due to business need.

CL 28+ is considered recognized globally (specialist/managers/exp supervisors/advisors etc.)

Think OP meant country, not county. Probably more relevant by region…keep it anonymous.

In Harris/Montgomery county, CL 30 and above is usually considered a common range for well recognized positions. This applies to all business lines.
