OK, they know how to give bad excuses for those cuts.
Do you remember any good moves lately? I don't. They make the most of the fact that some of us have a hard time getting a new job.
However, if they continue like this, I am afraid that very soon only those at the top will remain at Allstate.

The company is going down fast, it’s been on a steady decline over a year and is only getting worse, more and more of my coworkers are leaving, they are having a hard time filling all the openings, only second rate losers who are miserable where they work now. It get worse and worse, people do t even try anymore, so many overpayments and failed customer service, so much anger between departments, employees and managers. I don’t think it will ever recover, just like Liberty Mutual
The leadership is a two trick pony.
Layoffs and buying other companies for market share. That's it. That's all they know. No innovation. No caring about the customer or employees. Red line this MF'er and send it to India.
Jack the stock up and eject with golden parachutes.
Obviously, with the complete decimation of customer service & employee morale, they will bail & be long gone when the rubber meets the road.
Shapiro was brought in for this exact reason.
