In the past 5-10 years we as the core have seen several leaders in the C-suite come and go. Each having their own sl--t on the future of our organization and bring in their own team. This is a understandable practise, it’s about trust and one must trust their team. The solution is simple as you are bringing in your own people which you trust, don’t stop sweeping out the trash. What you should know, and it has to be said! There are SEVERAL VP’s that have dodged and weaved through these past 5-10 years and have not invoked any measurable changes themselves. These are yes men. Have your corporate finance team prepare their raw unedited results over the past 5 years using your KPI’s and let’s see who has produced. It is about time you swing the axe hard fast and deep. All VP’s should have to re-apply for their jobs in competition. Make us industry respected again.

Need to hurry and make changes. Read the history of h&p drilling they were early to recognize that field experience does not guarantee a qualified manager..accounting knowledge standardizes the process and identifies risks and loss areas..the good ol boys arent cutting it anymore
This is correct. Wft has underperforming, undereducated VPs that cannot think on a high level...nice enough people but just not real smart. Its time to do whar smart oil service companies do and put degreed Accountants at VP level
