Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Brandt will make the claims process better.

As a former Esurance employee, I can say the process Brandt designed worked well. He wants to streamline processes, and remove roadblocks, and it better for all involved. People here keep calling him an As----e, but he is not. He genuinely cares about the little guy, as was shown at Esurance.

Better times in claims are ahead.

I know the VTL process is a joke. I've been stuck at home as a Field Appraiser for 15 months. Finally saying beginning of July I can go out. They move cars to Cowart and it takes 2-3 weeks to get there and then they get reviewed by me or someone. 50% of the cars are repairable. Of the totalled ones many are borderline at best. Lying to customers that want an inspection telling them they will get one but not an actual field inspection. If my insurance company took a month to settle my car they wouldn't be my company.

DON'T believe ANYTHING "they" say. They don't care who they get rid of as long as it fits their bottom line.

He came to our office too and promised no changes and that he has our back. He will look out for the Esurance employee, Next thing you know CLS, Director, and several members of the department are gone.

I worked at Esurance and Brandt is an A$$ho-e. He took away our total loss department and dumped the duties on overworked claims adjusters who weren't properly trained to be a total loss adjuster. What a mess that was. I wonder how many DOI complaints came out of that.
He didn't "remove roadblocks" he just added more and more requirements to the claims metrics.
But you keep drinking the kool aid and preach the Pollyanna "better times are ahead" BS. What happened to "exciting times"?
