We move over for 6 weeks of training to become the CCC's "Claims Engagement Team" where we will assist customers with their current claims and to answer claims related questions and concerns. We are told we will no longer be doing any adjusting or any claims dept functions. We have not had new files since last Friday and not sure where our remaining files are going when we move over. The adjusters they have been hiring replace us and are not new additions.

Claims in Property are sitting in queue with no adjuster assigned for two to three days. Customers are getting irate.
They said to tell them high claim volume and under staffing with adjusters. Needs to say that is going over like a lead balloon.
Think the info provided by the OP might be more likely.
