Thread regarding CenturyLink layoffs

Tower of cards

No, thank you, the situation on the job market is not so desperate that I would continue doing a job for 5 people here... Next week I will give notice because I found a lower paid job but where I will not be as squeezed and humiliated as here. I hope to quickly forget the last months here.
The only thing that I don't understand is how they think that such an understaffed company is sustainable and when will everything fall apart like a tower of cards?

It's funny you guys assume it's a management troll, just because they have a different opinion than yours and is not bashing the company. Shows how narrow minded you are. I agree the company has made many mistakes, it's unfortunate. My job is in jeopardy like most in the company. I come here just to see what's going on in other parts of the company and other states, if I leave the company either by choice or by force reduction, I will have absolutely no reason to come back here, you definitely won't see me wasting my time crying about it on a layoff website.

Mr. “ You know what I find sadder, is all the x employees that continue to visit and comment on this site. Take your own advice and move on already. Maybe the grass isn't so green on the other side.”. Maybe if you’d actually be a good manager and be part of the solution and not the problem, people wouldn’t come here. Or are you just so jealous that so many of us have figured out the grass truly is greener on the other side and you stuck in your cr---y job where everyone hates you. We only come here to see just how bad things have gotten and giver words of encouragement to those debating if they should leave that dreadful place that management has made it.

So to those who are wondering about leaving the company. I say go for it. Learn something new or better yet if you can, stick it out and have the company pay for some classes so you can move onto something new. There’s a whole lot of companies out there hiring may not pay as good but you won’t be over worked. The only thing stopping you is yourself.
