I’m confused. In 2021 what is vantara?
It’s not a leading storage provider anymore, it’s not a digital company, it’s not got its own products as it just rebrands other hitachi work, it’s not a good sales led company, and it’s not good at delivery and it’s not specialised in any specific customer industry.
Genuine question what is Vantara good at beyond leadership demanding trust? There must be a plan and something to look forward to. I just can’t see it.
It's a con-call company! Whole company constantly in change of industry, specialism, territory, market and comp-plan. Constant conference calls announcing new egotists in high ranking leadership positions, they will bo-b in, a fiscal later. talent fired and wasted, no investment in people or talent management only endless con-calls and increased corrosion to their core value propositions.
Customers struggle to get support as their supplier loses more and more of the people that people buy from and get support from.
All the very senior leaders tell the same 3rd hand un-inspirational stories they got from their wifes, trainers, pupil on every all hands.
A very sad place over-run by failed weak narcs and egotistical yes men.
Apart from all that, great place to work !
Vantara was a failed attempt to transform a storage company into the Cloud. It was flawed from the start with NO vision and constant pivots in different directions. Purchasing small companies with terrible products that hurt the bottom line. Vantara is done. GlobalLogic will clean up this toxic mess.

This is the Tokyo way. Merger will lead to ‘new synergies and better economies of scale’, when the reality is to hide a poor performing company.
Global logic will reverse over HV in July and swallow them up. Hitachi group will either sell the new co or keep it. HDS and Vantara is finished by all accounts.
Heard of about 5 global account directors leaving this week! Crazy
