Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Any wage workers got the talk about their annual "wage of living" increase?

2nd line came down today and told us that the company is going through some challenging times. The annual wage of living increase that we been receiving for years isnt actually for that. It's to keep it competitive along with other competitors.

After he told us that, he said that we will be receiving a $1000 bonus, and then the effective July 1st, we will get a 1% pay bump. He added more by saying that the salaried people like him, supervisors, engineers/etc arent getting bonuses or raises this year.

Darren Woods got millions in bonus...

We're fools to think they ever had our best interests in mind.

Salaried people never get bonuses in US. Unless ranked exceptional and above CL 26

Brilliant! That’s why we hear of the occasional operator who retroactively got an engineering degree but decided to stay exactly where they are. They might be the smart ones.
