Or does that question no longer matter at all?
I am less and less interested in issues in this company because I realized that I am here only because I did not want to start again from the beginning in a new company. I’m almost sure most people are here for the same reason: they are reluctant to start again from the scratch!

It'll be hard for the company to survive. The sales pipeline is empty. The brand, once valuable, is now in the toilet thanks to years of disinvestment in the core products.
Most likely scenario is TB selling it off to another PE firm who will liquidate everything and extract as much cash as they can while dismantling the company.
A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.
And why is it in this handbasket?
At this point, I’d stop pining on the past, what Riverbed could be, and move on. Whether you get leave now or get RIF’d later, you’ll face the same challenges when looking for a new company. If you’re not an expert on modern technologies or do not posses a true understanding of the SaaS business model, competition, and landscape you’ll have start over no matter what.
You’re the issue.
