My supervisor has no “private meetings” set up for the first part of July as of yet anyway. Anyone else seeing the same thing? Think HR is having some second thoughts or problems with the 8% MLRP?

@4win

I would think that if they “re-evaluate” the NRE exclusion, they’re setting themselves up for a lawsuit.

What is an NRE: An employee within 3 years of 15 years of service and/ or 55 years of age.

Termination of an NRE could easily be perceived as the company attempting to avoid paying out lump sum pension, retiree health benefits etc….

If I’m on the jury, the employee wins big.

@3woz below mentions “ NRE are excluded “. What exactly is an NRE and why are they excluded ?

Or is there a change this year where NRE exclusion is actually being reevaluated?

Definitely being in the bottom is worse...

which is worse - to be ranked bottom and PIP/PIL, or to be ranked top and getting zero increment/promotion?

I heard the rankings are essentially done. HR is reviewing to make sure they have the correct diversity mix and that the NREs are excluded. Managers are being taught how tell the PIPs how being in the lower 8% is a great opportunity for them and that they should not take the PIL. The fact that the company just laid off 20% had no impact on your ranking, you need to improve. The EM managers will have no problem telling the PIPs this with a straight face as they have been promoted based on the dog eat dog mentality and to leave their personal integrity at home.

Thank you …previous post! I am looking forward to new antics from our low level d-mb management that only knows to repeat lines that are fed.

Instead of waiting, PIP here I come to greet you 😀

No. This is not true. Many of the assessment meetings haven’t even happened yet. I would predict July.
