M-Plate company vehicle abusers - Post your story!

There have been a few mentions here of people abusing this privilege if they have it, and I've seen my share of them. Like years ago the guy who took a new Lincoln home to party in, got drunk with his girlfriend and with her driving wrecked the test vehicle. That guy got fired eventually, but being penalized for misusing company property these days seems to be few and far between.

For example, we have a guy who is limited on the amount of days he can take company vehicles home but he managed to find a loophole in FMS where he can cheat the system, take test car home every night, and not get caught. God only knows what he does with it then. Must be nice to have a full company paid for free car. Lost track on how long this guy has been doing this and still has never been discouraged from screwing the company.

Anyone else have an interesting test car abuse story??

The company is saving money because regular use of the toxic M-plate slowly reduces the life expectancy of the employee. There is no chance of a age discrimination separation lawsuit because the employee seemingly self-destructs.

Hmmm - interesting that my post about baby seats in m-plates for months, FCG crashing a Ferrari and a guy working for Ford and Chrysler busted at Chrysler with a Ford M-plate was deleted???!!!!

Proof that this site is monitored by some Ford police.

The former Launch Director was really amused by one of her employees who loved driving M plate vehicles. I don't remember her exact comment but might have been "whatever floats your boat"

I never quite get it when people use M-plate vehicles that much, unless it's a production ready model.

I got stuck with heat in summer, cold in -20 winter, restart with a full volume, and battery doesn't hold charge. Why someone, especially those car nuts boys envy driving M-plate vehicle? I was such a boy before and I fully regret wishing driving them back then ( be careful what you wish for! )

M-plates are not necessarily a privilege. They can stall, leak fluids, catch fire, and generally endanger your life. Safer to drive an old beater.
