Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

You need to work over 6 months to earn what "leadership" makes in a single day.

Median employee salary 74,000

Name Salary per year Executive earnings per day #months average emp has to work to earn as much

Scharf 23,000,000 88,461 14.3

Santomassimo 11,000,000 42,307 6.9

Mack 10,750,000 41,000 6.6

Owens 6,200,000 23,846 3.9

Powell 9,100,000 35,000 5.7

Key take away - most employees at Wells Fargo would need to work more than 6 months to earn the equivalent of what these pricks earn in a single day.

The CEO pay ratio to employee median income is one of the highest in the nation - 274x to 1.

"For 2020, Scharf, who lives in New York, was paid a salary of $2.5 million, a $4.35 million cash bonus and nearly $13.49 million in shares."

$6.8MM plus stock. Sounds about right. $18K a day. Wish I'd gone to CEO school.

And they wonder why crime is increasing. The war on the middle class has been happening since the 80s, it just took 30 years and a pandemic for most people to wake up and notice the big disparity of wealth in this country.

@1oux+1bhT3zRJ it is hard to believe that Mack didn't know of what was going on.

Mack, Tim Sloan’s flunkie and safety valve, and the person who gave us that jacka$$ Kowach. She’s quite overpaid for someone who likely knew of the corruption long ago.

And they don't give a flippin sh-t about employee experience or TM morale. Line pockets , rinse and repeat. The former bunch who led this place would of screwed a snake for a $5 bill if someone would of held the snake for them. It is sick. GTFOH as fast as you can.

When I was at WF I was paid 450k/yr. I never once looked or cared about what the CEO made. I only cared about my bottom line.

The surprising thing is that the twit Powell -- COO and effectively the #2 in charge -- is not the second highest paid.

You get what you think you deserve
So if you think you are underpaid then demand a raise.
