And so, after many years here, they decided they didn’t need me anymore. It didn't surprise me at all, it was to be expected. After they brought me to the point where they couldn’t squeeze me anymore, they gave me a notice. It would be foolish to expect that for MetLife you are more than just a number, right?

I’m truly sorry this was done to you. The truth is this company doesn’t view you or anyone else as a human being. Corporate executions are all about the bottom line and satisfying the shareholders. Sadly, eveyone is dispensable.
