Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

"Me, me, me culture. When will I get paid?'. Mike gets angry but he and Mary are so out of touch

Mike gets angry about people who are underpaid and underserved asking about pay.

Mary squirms when asked about the bonuses, the decision making and awareness of which speak volumes to the (lack of) transparency at DXC and the parlous state of management.

Mike, Mary you are parasites. You get millions in stock while the rest of us get to wait to see if delivering the new DXC is going to be rewarded. You live of our efforts.

To have such an important process so drawn out and now having "technical difficulties' is testament to their misplaced priorities and ineptness of the non-productive areas (management, DXC IT, HR, finance and so forth)

Mike - you have no right to be angry. When you haven't had a rise in 5 years, have no job security and get treated like cattle then maybe you will empathize with those who have delivered your new DXC and have yet to see a dollar but continue to see layoff after layoff.

If the dollars do not flow, it's time to go. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...

I tracked this for years via the shareholders annual meeting proxy statement - there hasn't been a year since 2013 when senior execs did not get a bonus paid. Even in years when nobody else got a payout there was always some special bonus paid for a merger, an integration, a sale, an acquisition (you know all the things the senior team are supposed to do anyhow).
The CEO to "average" employee pay ratio was 456:1 last year - and prior to that even worse.
The compensation committee is a rubber-stamp team who seem to spend many pages justifying executive remuneration.
This obscene practice is what drove me to leave - along with zero increase for 8+ years. I said many times that "nice words don't pay bills"

Agree - but Mikey and Co standing is "Put up or leave" - be grateful you've got a job.

Unfortunately was the same under Mike L leadership under CSC and then DXC tenure - nothing changes.

How can DXC be "people first" when pay has not kept up with market and inflation? Unless by people you mean the exec.

I'll not expect anything when I see executives not getting bonuses.

Do that, show us that genuinely the company is not performing well enough and I'll accept getting nothing.

However that's not the case here.

Time to stop with the two face and the angry attitude Mike. I thought both of those things were against your idea of "new dxc" values. Not to mention caring about employees!

I fully agree. Make those useful id--ts and lazy/louzy “managers” and not-fit-for-the-job leaders redundant. Now!
