I remember when BellSouth tried to buy Sprint. Both were good companies back then. Even AT$T was still good, until the meteoric rise of Randall Stephenson (propelled by all accounts from his dealings with Carlos Slim) started the precipitous and disastrous decline of AT$T, a once proud pillar of American institutions.

T-mobile service is very inconsistent. In some areas its better than ATT. In most areas it has less than 1 Mbps upload on 5G. Several times per week there is no internet connection, even with 4 bars. People are patient with this because customer service is great, the price is fair and there aren't extra taxes and fees above the advertised price.

ATT can still win this. Our network is better. We just need to focus on the customer experience.
