Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Another round of layoffs?

Does anyone know any details about the layoffs that are rumored to be around the corner? I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, I don't have any special information except that I've heard from a few people that a new round of layoffs will follow soon. I am prepared but I am worried.

Due to the uncertainties presented by the chip shortage, Dell is revising cost structure and as a result, your job is being eliminated in two days".

If you haven't been kissing up, get ready for these words. Doesn't matter if your work and knowledge are critical. If you are over 50 and considered high salary, get ready for it. Consistently high performance and excellent reviews will not save you.

Good to see people know about GTM 3. Before we get worried "if we keep doing what we always have we cant complain if we get what we always got". GTM 3 will change the model again. Cant hurt.

You're all doomed. No tears here. We've been down this path. Come back after the LAYOFF (proper English now WFR) site when it happens and we'll commiserate. Don't be a bo-b beforehand.
