Thread regarding Hitachi Vantara layoffs

How does the HV retain talented people?

This company can almost no longer retain anyone who has specific skills and who is talented. Pay is certainly no longer a reason for someone like that to stay here a little longer. Still, pay isn’t the only thing that makes a significant competitive advantage by which HV can ensure that employees with great skills stay. There are other ways, but HV unfortunately seems to have no motive to insure them anymore.

I left because it is a bad company. I liked my manager.

It is absolutely true that
“ HV does not retain talented people... it gets rid of them and keeps the duds! “

HV shares similarities with previous WH administration that never stop replacing the cabinets

HV have a pattern of offering packages to stay that never materialise.

People don’t leave bad companies, they leave bad managers.
