Thread regarding Follett layoffs

What is going on? Follett IT is terrible.

Trying to do my job and service customers and not a single system is working. They have been down for at least 4 hours and no communication from home office. Is someone looking into this?

All I ever hear is how horrible SODA is. Is anyone accountable? Who in IT says they care, and ...how are they showing it? Are they there becausee ppl like them or bc they are effective? And more importantly, why are you using a product NOBODY uses and the company barely supports?

Now it has returned to being broken. As before, stop putting Brawndo in the cooling systems; it may be what plants need, but not server farms.

It really is rather hilarious how antiquated and unusable so many of our systems are. I can't even tell you how many hours I waste every week just waiting for things to process, waiting for computers or programs to restart, or even just waiting for websites to load on our slow af internet. Just look at Follett Central for daily posts about things being down, people can't print, registers no longer function, ProShip doesn't work, SODA is a nightmare, etc. Every single day I walk into work wondering what technical disaster we're going to have to deal with that day. It's exhausting.

It’s a known issue. Our byzantine systems will be up and running shortly.
