Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Another suddenly useless

Anyone who has read this board for years will recognize this kind of story: Despite years of free extra work above my responsibilities and awards the past year I am suddenly useless, considered unable to do the jobs I have held, had my ethics questioned until I felt forced to defend myself, and smacked down for doing so. This story has been told with slight variation so many times on this board, but we hit a certain time and are marked for deletion. Fair warning all, don’t wait for it to happen to you too.

I have documentation from when course materials managers were downgraded below a new position of operations manager.. I called them on it but didn’t matter. I at least let them know my feelings and didn’t y fired but I truly think it affected my manager’s chances at a regional position for which they were over qualified.

If this is who I think it is, it was definitely time and you “earned it”. If this isn’t someone that was recently put on administrative leave then I apologize and you were another victim.

If your older and make a good buck. You won't find any documentation. All done by phone. Age and wage discrimination. Happened to me. Sorry.

Yes. This is real. I have seen it. I have experienced it. It has been going on so long. It has been executed programmatically. There has to be documentation somewhere. If a document ever surfaces, and a class action suit could be built around it, this could be the event that finally sinks the regrettable mistake of a company. If.
