The JV squad is a joke. Led by a vacuous opportunist with no differentiating talents or experience. How and why does this happen? Is that really the best we can come up with?

Compensation, leadership, processes, tools and moral are all worse at COP. I haven't come across one thing that COP offers that is better. COP leadership can only say "we offer an opportunity to travel." Once Concho leadership leaves the Permian unit will implode
Overall, lost 16+% of total compensation, got placed in a SGL that is for someone with 1/2 my experience and completely lost any pride I had in the company I worked for. RIP CXO.
Concho was a fantastic place built around Midland values, then came along the locusts from the east led by a soulless knight with a short stick......tbc

It's true. All the flag-flying virtue signalling is creating a more hostile and oppressive workplace, not a more inclusive one. In this day and age, professional organizations like are already inherently diverse, international companies, staffed by an educated workforce. Intelligent people who recognize that your sexuality or personal behaviors have nothing to do with your job and should not have anything to do with how your performance is judged. As long as you are performing well and work well with others people don't care about your private life. They really don't. But the wokeness of this new corporate culture has everyone playing defense, afraid to be stereotyped as some sort of -phobic. If you really wanted to create an inclusive work environment you would stop focusing so dang much on spouting political slogans and empty political gestures.

we go from a company with multiple rewards for being a great place to work, to a company that is only recognized for being g-y friendly, flying a rainbow flag and colored lights. Midland Based Midland Proud was the pride that we had... so much for that.

Once upon the time there was a great company called Concho, a company in which people lived long and prosper with a dream that it will never become big and stupid......then one day! One day the evil witch spell a cast on it, and all the dreams were gone to open up to a new reality, that good things never last......RIP Concho

Not impressed but not horrified. But I’m giving it a year before I decide whether to stick it out or look for another company.
I left. Wasn’t let go but found another opportunity. I missed concho but I wish cop well. Just too big of a company for me, wanted to go back to smaller private company.
