I occasionally see “welcome to riverbed” posts on LinkedIn. Who are these id--ts joining this failing company? They have to be bottom of the barrel talent with no other options.

Like you? If you still work at riverbed, you are the problem. If you don't, well, i think your posting, and it being on another companies thread, speaks for itself.
Please… Riverbed is completely irrelevant and has almost no valuable IP.

I wonder the same thing. They must be getting top salaries and believe the bag of goods they are being sold (e.g. they think there is actually a large market for things like SaaS Acceleration - not realizing the vast majority of customers have no need for it).
