Thread regarding Mattel Inc. layoffs

Leaving on a high note

I realized months ago that no matter where you work no company is deemed safe from layoffs. It’s the nature of the beast made more prevalent during the pandemic. I’ve seen it happen to friends in other companies that end up competing against their colleagues that were also laid off for new jobs. I’ve known a coworker or two who has left in recent months and I’ve also decided to go that route. It’s better to leave on your own terms if you’re not happy instead of making yourself miserable by remaining.

Less yapping, just go already. Expect the door to hit you in the ar-e on your way out.

Seriously, was your post necessary in any way?
