How fast is the customer base shrinking? Customers seem increasingly dissatisfied. It would not surprise me at all that by next year our customer base is alarmingly reduced. I wouldn’t like to be a bearer of bad news but I wonder what you think about this? Any toughts?

Most of Riverbed’s customers are moving to the cloud, exiting or severely cutting their datacenter spend. For those customers in the process of moving to the cloud, expect renewals to happen BUT that will end once cloud landing zones and cloud enterprise agreements are closed (its an easy sell).
Enterprise’s doesn’t care about EUE, they care about results and that data can be extracted from the app servers themselves, in the cloud, blended with cloud infra metrics and other third-parties and persisted onto a scalable database infra (snowflake, big query, Redshift, etc.) In short, our customers will not see riverbed as strategic or even a nice to have.
Forget about the modern customers that are born in the cloud (no DC). This segment is dead to Riverbed but is a growth segment for cloud and modern tooling companies.
Renewals on WAN-Op wouldn’t be an issue but what is is what they’re doing with Aternity. Where have I seen this movie before? Visibility, yes that’s awesome but Riverbed has nothing unique that can compete - even with the addition of Aternity.
What a snooze-fest of a townhall. I feel bad for those drinking this Coolaid.
