Is HR next to get cut as I have heard rumors from several people?

I know a few people in HR that got laid off this week. Guess it's already started.
Any word on the print areas e.g. Scranton?
The rumor is they are outsourcing some areas of HR. What can go wrong with that? We all know how smooth the outsourced Helpdesk runs.

It isn't even a rumor. It was more or less said at a recent HR meeting but glossed over so quickly I wonder how many people watching caught it.
Allegis just increased their recruiter headcount 300% in NC. They're under water.
I hope so. The few I've dealt with are borderline incompetent.
