My heart goes out to all the employees who were, and will be, laid off so Allstate could hire Alicia Keys. Clearly, the company believes this Grammy award winning musician, tv personality, business owner, author and philanthropist is in desperate need of a paycheck and you are not. For those of you questioning this decision, the company encourages you lean into this moment, embrace the possibility of "what if we could" and get back to work.

From someone who use to work in Marketing I am almost sure her contract is costing less than what they paid for Dennis. I’m think one of issues was his contract was the price was too high. I also find it weird they got another famous person as the voice of Allstate. The goal was for Allstate to not be bound to these people but have a general recognizable presence like other carriers. I guess they changed directions again…
I am sure all the New York city residents will be lining up now to insure their autos and homes now...err wait.

I had to log off so I could get back to taking calls from customers who are upset with their claims and the company. Not a single word about overworked adjusters or pressure on auto inspections. With the amount of money they are spending on Alicia Keys, Allstate could afford a bonus to staff who have worked so hard during this disaster transformation growth process
That video shoutout from her was ridiculous. She did not once mention Allstate, and she could have been talking about anything frankly, Big love everyone, big love.
Would absolutely love for State Farm, Progressive and/or Geico to one-up us and hire Beyonce.
It’s also interesting she did not once use the word Allstate in her introductory video. Not a good brand ambassador!
She's cheaper than Dennis Haysbert! I don't know why they didn't hire some generic ethic voice over actor. Nobody's going to know that is Alicia Keys.
