The guy who bought the Kingston site for $3M, where 7000 people worked 3 shifts in 25 buildings (including me for 20 years), hasn't been able to make any money on it, and it's being foreclosed on for non-payment of taxes. Oh yes, it's also an EPA hazardous waste site.

I drive by those buildings all the time. That picture must have been taken a while ago, because they looked far worse when I drove by the other day. Spent many years in those buildings, and it makes me absolutely sick seeing the paint peeling and the stucco falling off ... but they're an apt metaphor for the current state of the IBM Corporation.
