I worked for Honeywell for 30 yrs. never minded the work you have people in management that only care about advancing their careers. The workers they hire dont give a dang about doing a days work for their pay. The easiest cr-p gets done the rest sits. Management does nothing. Glad to be gone and waiting to see how far they fall. The problem stems from the lack of loyalty to their employees and then the employees dont have any either. Simple

There is nothing juvenille about wanting loyalty and it certainly isn't entitlement. That's how good organizations become excellent organizations.
Seeing cynical comments here. There's no reason why a workplace can't be a pleasant and even supportive place. It used to be that way in Engines until GE spawned CEO's arrived to install their dysfunctional and hostile culture. I feel sorry for you if this is the only kind of cr---y work environment you've ever experienced or can ever look forward to. This is the work environment you get when greed and selfishness trumps common decency. BTW, don't tell me I should leave. I left years ago.
What a juvenile perspective. Everyone is looking out for themselves, period. Everyone wants to maximize their profits whether in the form of hourly wages, salaries or business profits. If not for themselves, then for their families or some other cause. There is no loyalty except to themselves, their families or their cause, period. Expecting loyalty is the essence of entitlement. Entitlement itself is selfish. Grow the f- up.
