Which area of Esurance? Just Claims?
Service and Sales are both hiring.
My department is hiring because people keep quitting.
Esurance employees are used to multitasking and doing own assignment work. Allstate employees are too used to processors..
The work and policies are still there. Esurance is actually hiring. Esurance got hit last year and Allstate side waaay understaffed. I don’t think they’ll be hitting Esurance.
Esurance has been subjected to TG for over a year now. Anyone lower than E band lost their bonus; some people had to take demotions, and many were laid off. Many more have since left for better opportunities. If they lay off many more outside of claims they’re going to end up having no one who knows how the rating and billing systems work, which will be a problem since the Esurance platform is scheduled to stay around for another 3 to 5 years. Esurance is still writing a lot of auto policies despite no advertising.
Many Esurance folks were laid off in November of 2020. Esurance bonus was ended as of July 2020. To piggyback on another responder, the Esurance staff is “Low Hanging Fruit” and about 5% of the total items in force as Allstate. A few quick system integrations, and Allstate Claims can handle all the Esurance claims without breaking a sweat (As far as Glenn and Eric are concerned). The job market is hot. Get out and control your own destiny. There is no glory in being the last man standing at Esurance.
weird they were forcing esurance positions last year on the folks that we're getting laid off from allstate.

I'm actually surprised the Esurance folks lasted this long. I figured as soon as he could Glenn the Butcher would have clearcut them like a paper company clear cutting the Amazon rain forests. Especially when they were getting bonuses. That my friends is a no no to Allstate. No bonuses unless you are making 6 figures. Esurance people about to be enriched by that Transformative Growth. Get those resumes updated!
