Sometimes I wonder how our managers would cope in some other company. I’m almost certain that ordinary employees, hard workers, would fare much better than they would. It is nice and comfortable for them at Refinitiv. Outside of Refinitiv, I don't think they would do so well.

Success at TR Markets / F&R / Refinitive was defined by one's ability to enthusiastically and shamelessly stand in the field of vision of a certain small group of people while smiling ear to ear and avoiding any real accountability.
It was that simple.
There were a lot of people I knew who were fine with that. And others who wanted more...the ability to think differently, contradict, and ask tough questions without reprisal. Those are the people who either got laid off because they aggravated the above certain small group or their acolytes, or left because they realized they didn't want to spend their careers in that environment.
We are doing fine.
@iefw+1bNqauT6 or maybe you're just lucky. Mine mostly ranged from mediocre to 'Oh dear...' And all of them thought they were fantastic
